My wife and I spent the afternoon in Chicago’s Chinatown. While walking around, we popped into an alley and noticed this fantastic door. With camera in hand, I made a photo. When we walked out of the alley, a gentleman stopped me and asked–rather puzzled–”what are you taking pictures of?” I said, “oh, the wall, the fire escapes, and that really fantastic door.” At first I don’t think he believed me, but then he smiled and said, “oh really? that’s nice.” And he was on his way.
